Steven Klein is an educator and practicing trial attorney who has been teaching for more than 30 years and practicing law for 20 years. Dr. Klein teaches in the areas of ethics, philosophy, anthropology, sociology, criminal law, business law, intellectual property law, and real estate.
Dr. Klein attended Haverford College, graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s in philosophy and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with PhDs in philosophy and anthropology, as well as a JD. He more recently graduated from the Beasley School of Law of Temple University with an LLM in Trial Advocacy.
Dr. Klein has taught at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Johnson C. Smith University and North Carolina Wesleyan College. His areas of research include 20th century European philosophy and Ancient Greek Philosophy. The emphasis of his trial practice is in International Law, Criminal Law, Civil Rights, Medical Malpractice and Intellectual Property. Dr. Klein is licensed to practice law in the states of California and North Carolina, is a registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and holds a Real Estate Broker’s License from the state of California.
