Mr. Grier has an extensive background, including over twenty-three years of professional law enforcement experience. He began his career on active duty with the U.S. Army Military Police and later transitioned to a position as a uniformed Police Officer in the Washington, D.C. area. Mr. Grier then accepted a position as a Special Agent with the Defense Security Service, headquartered out of the Pentagon, where he witnessed the horrific attacks on 9/11. Mr. Grier is currently employed as a Supervisory Federal Air Marshal.
Mr. Grier earned his M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a M.Div. and M.A. from Liberty Theological Seminary; additionally, Mr. Grier earned his B.S. in Religion from Liberty University. Mr. Grier is also currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Nova Southeastern University, where he will soon be entering the dissertation phase of his degree. Mr. Grier’s research interests include biosocial criminology and faith-based correctional programming.
