Dr. Burke is a retired US Army Colonel with 30 years of experience in military intelligence, including leadership of human intelligence, counterintelligence, and signals intelligence units. Her expertise also includes intelligence support to emergency response operations and linguist support to the Intelligence Community. During her service, she had numerous opportunities worldwide including much of the Middle East and North Africa. Dr. Burke’s positions included deputy director of a joint intelligence directorate, chief of strategy and policy division, deputy director for operations, chief of current operations, chief of planning, and chief of intelligence within various operations centers and headquarters. In addition to her higher education, she also studied at the Defense Language Institute, US Army War College, US Joint Staff College, Joint Military Intelligence Training Center and US Army Intelligence Center.
