Nancy is an experienced higher education professional who has served over 30 years working with adult, non-traditional students who are seeking degrees and degree completion. Nancy joined Henley-Putnam as Director of Admissions in 2007. Previously she had a successful 21-year career at Saint Mary’s College of California where she was the Director of Admissions and Recruitment in the School of Extended Education. In addition to admissions and recruitment her responsibilities include marketing, planning and is a member of the Executive Committee. Nancy holds a MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and a BA in Management, both earned at Saint Mary’s College.
Dr. DiMaio has over fifteen years experience in higher education, distance education, accreditation, curriculum development, and student services. DiMaio has published in Simone de Beauvoir Studies, A Theodore Dreiser Encyclopedia, and Modernity in East-West Literary Criticism. Previously, DiMaio served as Associate Dean of General Studies Online, Associate Campus Dean of English and Foreign Language Online, and full-time online English faculty at Strayer University. She also served as Associate Professor of English at Trocaire College in Buffalo, NY. DiMaio has a Ph.D. in English from Kent State University, a master’s degree in English and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, both from St. Bonaventure University, as well as a certificate in distance education from Indiana University.
