Carmen G. Thomas-Browne, Ph.D.

Dr. Thomas-Browne teaches various courses in the fields of mathematics and education both online and on ground. She has 14 years of experience teaching at the higher education level. In addition, she supervises pre-service mathematics teachers in their field experiences in K-8 classrooms. Dr. Thomas-Browne has research interests in professional development for the teachers of mathematics and teaching mathematics in ways that reach all learners, including students who are often marginalized in mathematics classrooms. Dr. Carmen Thomas-Browne possesses a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, a master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics, and a Ph.D. in Instructional Management and Leadership.
