During his 36-year government career, John Coale was an electrical engineer with the U.S. Navy, an intelligence analyst for DIA and NSA, and a senior technical director for NSA. He produced all-source senior intelligence analysis and reporting of advanced telecommunications technologies, information warfare, national and foreign critical infrastructures, computer network operations, modeling and simulation, and foreign naval platforms and weapons. He retired from federal service but is still employed in the DoD Intelligence Community.
