Dr. Eric V. Bell, Jr. is an esteemed member of the Intelligence Community with dedicated service in the Department of Defense (DoD) as an All Source Intelligence Officer. Throughout his career, Dr. Bell served with distinction performing intelligence analysis at various echelons from the tactical, operational, strategic, and joint levels. His intelligence products have influenced decisions for executive leaders to include tactical Commanders, members of the United States Government Senior Executive Service, and several United States Ambassadors.
Throughout his career, Bell led multi-functioning intelligence analysis teams in support of Operations NOBLE ANVIL, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and New Dawn–mainly in the Middle East. Dr. Bell also worked as a Collection Requirements Manager, a Joint Staff Officer, and a Senior Intelligence Analyst for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). As a member of DIA, Bell provided all-source intelligence products which were instrumental in the development of daily briefings for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Secretary of Defense, and the President of the United States.
Dr. Bell’s intelligence related training includes, but is not limited to, Cyberspace Operations Planning, Red Teaming, Intelligence Collection Management, Information Operations Planning, Intelligence Master Analytics, Counterterrorism Analysis, Foreign Disclosure and Special Security Officer, and countless professional intelligence and terrorism seminars.
Dr. Bell received acknowledgement from President Barack Obama and the Honorable James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence, for highlighting the continued need for diversity and inclusion within the Intelligence Community through his dissertation which focused on diversity management within the Intelligence Community.
