This course focuses on understanding how analytical platforms can be used to assist law enforcement. You will become familiar with the capabilities of a wide variety of analytical platforms as well as utilizing select platforms to ingest data and conduct complex analysis and product creation. This course is designed to promote educational outcomes expected at the undergraduate level. Students will learn to identify how technology is used in the intelligence space, identify the capabilities of Analyst Notebook as an analytic tool, utilize Google earth to view and analyze data, explain the capabilities of Enterprise Insight Analysis (EIA) and integrate technology into intelligence products.
Conduct analytical research on technologies and their applications to intelligence analysis.

Understand and apply technologies to intelligence analysis
Understand ethical principles when using technologies applied to intelligence analysis
Integrate technology assisted analytics into well-reasoned and researched intelligence products
